Preparation

CSIM 18 uses standard setup scripts. You must type

setup csim

to use this application. If you want to run this version of the software even if other versions are available, use csim18 instead of csim in your setup statement.

See "helpme setup" for information on finding out what versions are available or what to do if the setup statement does not work.

Running CSIM 18

For C Programs:
Include "csim.h" in your code and compile using the csim.gcc command.
For C++ Programs:
Include "cpp.h" in your code and compile using the csim.g++ command.

Most gcc/g++ flags should work with the CSIM wrappers.

Notes

Sample programs are available in /opt/csim18/examples on Sun workstations.
