xgraph is a program to graphically display numerical data in an X windows environment.

Platforms

xgraph is available on all Unix workstations.

Preparation

xgraph uses standard setup scripts. The application name is "xgraph" and this version is "xgraph" (See "helpme setup" for instructions.) Eg: For the Design Center default bash/bourne shell type "setup xgraph "

Running

Type:

xgraph <filename>

If you do not specify a filename nothing will happen.


Printing/Plotting

Printing is accomplished from the hardcopy menu of xgraph. Save the hardcopy to a postcript file then you can print the postcript file to printers laser or djetusing the UNIX " lp " command.

Notes

Example files are available in the directory " /opt/xgraph/examples ". The utility " xv " can be used to capture the image and save it in a standard graphics format.
